The cost is $1,350 total (plus any applicable tax), and that can be paid in full or split into 9 monthly payments of $150.
It does not include the cost of supplies you'll need through the year (such as alcohol, vinegar, honey, jars, salves). Tuition includes taking you to the plants, foraging together, seasonal celebrations including food and more, plus digital pdfs on the student portal, and the education itself. -
Refund Policy: We are a very small business and we rely on tuition payments in order to teach our program. We can't buy materials or pay our bills without it! We cannot issue refunds for tuition payments unless you suffer a serious personal or family emergency that renders you unable to attend the majority of the classes. Refunds will not be offered if you miss a date.
How is Hedgefolk different from other herbalism course?
Most herbalism courses fall into one of two camps:
Clinical and science-heavy, or mystical and vibes-based.
This one? It walks the hedge.
The Hedgefolk Apprenticeship is for those who want both the practical and the poetic—the physiology and the folklore, the materia medica and the moon water. You’ll learn to make effective, grounded plant medicine and deepen your relationship with the land, the seasons, and your own intuition.
This isn’t an online-only course you’ll forget in two weeks. It’s a living, breathing, in-person apprenticeship rooted in Cascadian soil. We gather monthly in community to learn, practice, and remember. Together.
You won’t just learn herbalism—you’ll live it.
With your hands in the dirt, your heart in the work, and your feet firmly planted between field and forest.
By the end of the year, you won’t just know your way around a materia medica.
You’ll be re-rooted—in relationship with the plants, the people, and the place you call home.
